Stefan Johansson new SVP Field Development

(October 18th, 2018) Aker Energy announces Stefan Johansson will take on the role as Senior Vice President for Field Development. Mr. Johansson comes from the position as Project Director at Aker Solutions.

He brings significant experience from Aker Solutions and the Johan Sverdrup and Skarv projects in particular which will be valuable for our company when developing FPSO projects in ultra-deep waters of Ghana. I look forward to work with him and the rest of his team to continue the preparations for our project development”, says Jan Arve Haugan, CEO of Aker Energy.

Stefan Johansson comes from Aker Solutions and the current position as Project Director for Equinor’s Johan Sverdrup project and previously the FPSO Development on the Aker BP operated Skarv field outside the coast of Norway. He has been with Aker Solutions since 2005, and before that he was in AkerKvaerner, KOGAS and Kvaerner where he held several engineering and business development positions for projects both internationally and the Norwegian Continental Shelf. He will join Aker Energy from November 1st, 2018.

Mr. Johansson holds a M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers Institute of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden.

CEO Jan Arve Haugan thanks Tore Sjursen for his interim service as SVP Field Development during the transition and initial start-up phase of Aker Energy, and wishes him well in his new assignment.
