We are now looking for a Compensation and Benefits Specialist to strengthen our organisation in Oslo, Norway. The person taking this role will be responsible for annual salary reivews, variable pay programs, salary benchmarking and being a important support to both recruitment and global mobility processes. You will also be involved in administrating the company's employee benefits and insurance programs. The role will be reporting to Cheif of Staff and be a crutial part of the HR team.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Develop and own the compensation policy for the company
  • Benchmarking of compensation packages with external providers
  • Conduct yearly salary review for the company in both Norway and support this process in Ghana
  • Administrate the variable pay scheme
  • Work closely with other HR functions to link career model to the financial reward
  • Review, administer and negotiate the employee benefit programs and company insurances. This included pension scheme, health and wellness providers
  • Preparation and distribution of written and verbal information to inform employees of benefits, compensation, and personnel policies
  • Prepare detailed job descriptions and classification systems and define job levels and families, in partnership with other HR managers
  • Manage the design and development of tools to assist employees in benefits selection, and to guide managers through compensation decisions

Qualifications & personal attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree with additional qualifications in business, finance, HR or related field
  • 5+ years of experience working with reward in a medium or large size company
  • Experience with employee benefit and incentive programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills - ability to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent English and Norwegian language skills
