We are now looking for Drilling Engineers to strengthen our organisation to support development of our oil discovery offshore in Ghana.

We are looking for both new graduates and experienced veterans.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Develop well planning through the early phases and/or development drilling phases, prior to handover to the operations team in Ghana
  • Support the exploration drilling team in delivery of well SOR
  • Deliver option selection recommendation and well BOD
  • Contribute to experience transfer and continuous improvements
  • Prepare casing design to provide required well barriers, fluid, cement programs and hydraulic and torque modelling as required
  • Ensure delivery of required emergency response plans and services
  • Prepare cost & time estimates

Qualifications & personal attributes

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree from a recognised university in relevant Engineering discipline
  • 2+ years' well engineering and operational experience preferred however, candidates with the right background but less experience will be considered
  • Preferred experience includes deepwater / West Africa drilling experience, as well as experience working in remote locations and new country start-ups
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
