We are building an IT team to provide Aker Energy with all required IT services. We are looking for an IT Collaboration Manager to be the individual that raises the level of understanding and utilization when it comes to collaboration. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting training in the organisation and optimising the use of all available tools within Aker Energy to help improve the way we collaborate in order to increase our performance.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Manage our SharePoint installation, recommend restructure and/or rebuild to make sure setup is always optimal
  • Continuously optimize, configure and support SharePoint (and sites) according to the business needs of intranets, team sites and other collaboration work spaces
  • At the enterprise level, coordinate and maintain end-user accounts, permissions and access rights in accordance with policies and best-practices while maintaining privacy and security standards
  • Partner with key stakeholders (SharePoint ambassadors) to determine how to best implement, support and leverage SharePoint solutions to drive employee communication and collaboration
  • Manage and optimise the organisation's use of other collaboration tools, such as video conference, virtual meeting rooms and systems such as Microsoft Office 365, Skype, Teams, Yammer and Delve

Qualifications & personal attributes

We are looking for a person with more than 10 years’ IT experience, and some 6 years’ experience with collaboration platforms such as SharePoint, IBM Connections or others (SharePoint highly preferred). In addition, we prefer someone with more than 3 years’ of SharePoint administration experience developing customized views, workflows, form design, content management, and access management.

Further qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Business Suite applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in designing and implementing web design collaboration tools and content management
  • Instructor experience within SharePoint is considered an advantage
  • Ability to quickly pick up new tools and technologies
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English, written and orally
  • Excellent organisational, writing, and communication skills
